1000 Calorie Challenge - 1000 Calorie Challenge Review - 1000 Calorie Challenge Scam - 1000 Calorie Challenge Book

Can a workout burn fat? I think this is a question many people needs answered. Do you have to follow a diet as well or can a workout burn fat and let you lose weight without a diet?
If you do your workout correct, it can definitely burn away those extra pounds. What is important here is to remember for the burning purposes you must not exercise at a too high intensity. You have to exercise at 60% of your maximum heart rate otherwise you will not be burning the maximum amount of extra weight for the same amount of effort.
1. How to work out 60% of your maximum heart rate:
First you have to start with 220 minus your age. To work out your optimal heart rate, for fat burning, take 60% of that and you have your maximum heart rate for burning t. As an example if you were 42 years old, the formula would look like this, 220-42= 178x60%= 107. Divide that by 6 and you have a 10 second count if you are checking your heart rate manually. All you have to do now is count the amount of beats for ten seconds and you know if you are exercising at the correct heart rate.
For the purposes of burning fat, working harder as that will be counter productive. Exercising at this intensity has to be kept up at least for 30 minutes, 40 would be better. If you have other fitness goals, you have to adjust for those, of course.
2. Kinds of exercise:
There is no need for any complicated workout. A brisk walk, increasing your heart rate as needed, will do the trick. Think of something you enjoy doing and use it as your workout. Do your chores with energy, get stuck into gardening or kick a ball with the kids.
If it is possible, joining a gym is always a good idea. Being in the atmosphere of people exercising can be a great motivator. Find out about the facilities available at your local gym, if it suits you, joining is a good idea.
3. Can a workout burn fat, and is it enough?
If you have only a few pounds to lose, increasing your daily exercise should be enough. On the other hand, if you have a lot of weight to lose, you will have to look at your way as well. Following a healthy balanced diet will help you shed those extra pounds that much easier.
There is no need to starve yourself. Cut down on all the junk food, learn to make healthy choices and you will lose weight without any problems. The combination of a healthy, calorie controlled diet and exercise is the best way to get rid of all that extra weight.
4. Healthy diet tips:
I think, the most important tip is to cut out all junk food. Eat lots of vegetables, a little low GI carbs, low fat protein, low fat dairy products and about three small portions of fruit a day. Prepare all your food with as little oil or butter as possible. Do not use more than three teaspoons of oil or butter a day. Use herbs and spices to flavor your food instead of all that oily stuff. This eating plan will complement your workout to burn away those extra pounds and speed up your weight loss.
So, back to your question, can workout burn fat? Yes, it can, but for the best results you do have to eat a healthy, balanced, calorie controlled diet as well.
